Have you ever wondered...
If you were stranded on an tropical island with just some basic supplies, a laptop PC, unlimited battery power, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook, 10 bookmarked website resources, a credit card (with a $300 limit) and a powerful mobile phone to connect you to the Internet.
What would those 10 bookmarked resources be?
I know what you're thinking... but there's one more catch to consider. These bookmarks need to help you make enough money to afford the $1,000 boat trip home!
So what would they be and where would they take you?
Here is what I'd do...
First of all I need some webspace so I would go to http://www.webhostlist.com and find the best deal I could.
The next thing to do is find a product to sell.
The quickest and easiest way of doing this has got to be through affiliate selling, so I would go to: http://www.cj.com and look for a profitable in-demand product to build a recommendation style website around.
After this I'd visit: http://www.coffeecup.com to download all their website production tools for a free 30 day trial.
Where's the cheapest place to go to register a domain name?
http://www.123-reg.co.uk offer a .co.uk for $0.2c a month, I wouldn't go wrong with this!
Okay, so that's the website, domain name and method of making money sorted out, what next?
Constructing the site should be quite straight forward, I'll keep it to just 3 pages. The first page would be my recommendation and the other 2 pages would be just a bit of useful themed content. To get this I'd pay a visit to:

Email marketing to the 10th degree is the key to success here, so I must integrate follow up email messages into my website as much as possible.
The way to do this is simple, use sequential autoresponders - the best place for this has got to be: http://www.autoresponseplus.com
The only downside is it's a CGI-script so I'll need to install it myself to save a bit of money.

Simple!... pay per click search engines.
The first thing to do is to find out what the demand is for the keywords that relate to my product. Here's a great place to start: Overture.com, previously GoTo.com has got to be the largest and most popular pay per click search engine around. This would have to be the best place to go and submit bids on my chosen keywords, for the most amount of targeted traffic. http://www.overture.com
